In an effort to avoid mindlessly watching YouTube video, I'm writing blogs about the ones that I watch. This article is based on video I watched from Dan Koe. The video is linked at the bottom of the is blog post.
### Trust
"Money is a measure of trust"
### Trust Matrix
- **Growth**: Do what works to attract people.
- **Authenticity**: Express your core beliefs.
- **Authority**: Display your expertise.
### Growth
Build (this muscle): Idea -> Execution. Your brand is a collection of these ideas. Do other people like it? PERFORMANCE. Do I like it? EXCITEMENT.
- Look at how the people you admire articulate their ideas.
- Find their posts that have 2x more engagement as their other posts.
- Collect 20-30 posts and then analyze why they work so well.
You can also copy and post the following: Do a comprehensive analysis on this social post. The overall idea, how the sentences are structured, and choice of words. Analyze why people engage with it, why it works so well, what psychological tactics are being used, and how I can replicate this style step-by-step with my own ideas. *Paste social post.*
### Authenticity
**Mode**
- **Time under attention**: People perceive your posts through the rest of your ideas (the ideas you've shared with them through your long form content). People need time to be able to do this. People need to have been exposed to you for long enough.
- **Be authentically polarizing**: Be convicted in your beliefs and put them out there.
**Means**
- Where your were -> what sparked change -> where you are now
- For each topic or theme, have a list of core principles you hold for them.
### Authority
There are people out there who are already teaching what you want to teach. You've got to set yourself apart.
- Teach through a new lens: your story, introduce your teaching through a novel idea (Studies have projected that by 2030, nearly half of all U.S. adults could be obese, change your life and let's prove those predictions wrong)
- Persuade the non-interested. Easiest way to do this is to start with a desire, or pain point and then go on to list the how or why.
1. "if you want," "if you love"
2. "if you don't want," "if you hate"
### Monetization
There are plenty of ways to monetize. Quickly create a digital product of some kind and sell it for cheap. If you get traction, flesh it out and charge more for it.
